Design & Safety Features
Though much of the F-150's exterior
looks the same as it always has, it has been slightly altered to offer a less
boxy look. The interior, on the other hand, sees the biggest improvements. In
higher trims like the King Ranch,
Platinum,
and Limited models, drivers will find more upscale amenities
like leather upholstery and much more tech.
In every cabin, drivers will find convenience features such as various
cubby options and optional fold-flat front seats to provide a place for
sleeping. Additionally, the 10-speed automatic shift lever can be folded into
the center console to create a large, flat workspace.
For passenger safety, Ford has
outfitted the F-150 with many safety features. These include lane departure
warning, forward collision warning with automatic braking, and automatic high
beams. Higher trims provide blind-spot warning, rear automatic braking, and
adaptive cruise control.
